HTC 10 DVD Solution: How to Play DVD on HTC 10 ?

Read on to find out how you can rip and convert DVD to HTC 10 and any other android model compatible format with ease.

Coming from a Moto X Pure (2015), I was a little hesitant to go back to buying a Verizon branded phone, but I'm glad I bought the HTC 10. Unlike my Moto X, the HTC 10 is snappy/buttery smooth. I'm also very impressed with the display. Even though it is an LCD, it almost looks like an AMOLED because of the bright colors. It's definitely way better than the Moto X Pure, even though the Pure has a QHD LCD screen too. The build quality is the best I've ever owned in a smartphone. Very durable and sleek. Fingerprints scanner is great and very responsive. Maybe the feature that impressed me the most is the audio through the headphones. This phone plays the best audio I've ever heard through headphones.

In this post, I will show how to rip a DVD and transcode the DVD video to H.264 video in the MP4 container that is playable on HTC 10. That way, HTC 10 owners can store some favorite DVD movies on their devices to watch in locations without Wi-Fi, for example on a long flight.

Let's get started.

Firstly, we need a tool to finish the conversion task and Brorsoft DVD Ripper can be used here. It can rip DVD, DVD ISO/IFO, DVD folder to almost any popular video format .mp4, .avi, .wmv, .mov, .mpg, .3gp, etc, so that you can use it conveniently. And the speed is fast that it can’t waste your time. The quality of the DVD movies that is copied by it is very nice. By using it, we can play the DVD movies that we like smoothly and clearly. What’s more, it has a good compatibility. For Mac users, please get DVD Ripper for Mac.

Select an Android friendly format, e.g. H.264 .mp4 for conversion. Basically the "Common Video -> H.264 Video (*.mp4)" is a universal format for HTC 10. Besides, there are optimized formats for Samsung, Motorola, Acer, Asus, Sony, Toshiba, Google Nexus, etc branded Android devices; choose a proper one as you need. Or depends on your device, you can choose a suitable video format from "Android" catalogue.

Tip: If you think the video size this not suitable for your Android Tablet or Phone, you can first choose any one of the provided type, then change the settings.
